Community National Bank & Trust acquires Red Oak location CORSICANA, TEXAS – (August 30, 2010) K.C. Wyatt, president and CEO of Community National Bank & Trust of Texas (CNB&T), announced the bank has acquired the Red Oak branch of Jefferson Bank. Red Oak bankers Jerry Watson, Carol Farris, Faith Phillips and Teresa Young will remain with the bank. “Our top priority is to make this a smooth transition for our new Red Oak customers,” says Wyatt. “Community National is one of the strongest banks in the country for safety and soundness as ranked by Bankrate, Inc. and Weiss Ratings. We’ve been part of the Central Texas banking scene for over 45 years, earning a reputation for quality personal service, competitive banking products and heavy community involvement. We intend to continue this tradition as we bring community banking to Red Oak.” The main office and drive-through of Jefferson Bank re-opened as Community National on their next normally scheduled business day, Monday, August 30. Operating hours will remain the same. Customers of Jefferson Bank have received new Community National checks and debit cards, free of charge. A new ATM will be installed at the Red Oak bank. “Former Jefferson Bank customers will have access to our 7 locations; our Banker 24, which is open seven days a week; our Internet Banking system and our ATM network,” adds Wyatt. “Community National looks forward to serving the banking needs of our Red Oak customers.” The bank is active in commercial and residential lending, as well as offering a fullservice trust and investment department. In addition to its new Red Oak location, CNB&T has locations in Corsicana (two), Fairfield, Frost, Buffalo, and Richland Chambers Lake. The bank is owned by Community Bank Holdings of Texas based in Corsicana and has assets of approximately of $350 million.
