The faces of Back to School, 2010

There was a wide range of emotions evident as BISD students headed off to school Monday morning. (L-R) Veterans like third graders Andrea Daniels and Samantha Simpson were happy to see each other on the first morning of school. Social butterflies like kindergardeners Mia Barrett and snaggle-toothed Alayna Grissett were all smiles. First grader Maverick Lee was ready to get down to business. Others, like Pre-K student Alexis Dominguez, had definite reservations. (So did his mother -- so she sent him with his aunt, Maria Andrade!)
