Johnny Lee Williams
Visitation was held Sunday, August 15, 2010 from 1 pm until 8 pm with the family present from 5 pm until 8 p.m. at the Walters Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo, Texas. Johnny Williams was born in Fairfield, Texas on September 11, 1950 to Albert C. and Florence (Strawn) Williams. He and his family has lived in Buffalo for about thirty five years. He just recently retired from the United States Postal Service as a clerk. He had also worked for the Buffalo Livestock Sale Barn in Buffalo for over forty years. Johnny knew everyone and everyone knew him. He had many co-workers and friends and was chosen the friendliest citizen of Buffalo. He was the past president of the Lion’s Club, and was involved with the Leon County Livestock Show. He also enjoyed the great outdoors and sharing that love with his grandchildren; hunting, trapping, fishing, camping, and working on his tractor. He liked camphouse cookouts and fellowship with friends, but most of all, he loved his family and loved to take road trips with family and friends. He loved to sit on porch drinking early morning coffee with his wife, and sitting on theporch swing under the trees telling stories. He was preceded in death by his parents.
