The Oakwood Dirty Riderz horse riding club presented OISD principal, Judy Thomason, with the bounty from its second annual school supply drive. Thomason expressed her gratitude on behalf of the students and teachers for the giant box of school supplies. She commented to the children involved in the project that they looked "just like angels" helping out. The supplies included basic necessities such as crayons, construction paper, notebook paper, pencils, glue, spiral notebooks, pens, etc. These supplies will be distributed to the teachers to supplement the classrooms on an as needed basis.
April "Kourage" Brown, of the Dirty Riderz, said the group was thankful to the community for coming together and donating to this worthy cause and hopes that they will continue to do so in the years to come.
