     AUSTIN – (August 9, 2010) For the week ending August 7, feeder cattle price trends at Texas auctions were uneven, from $5 lower per hundredweight to $5 higher. Higher grain prices and steady fed cattle prices pressured the feeder market. Fed cattle prices were near unchanged with wholesale beef prices lower.

4-H program for kids who love dogs
      Paws and Pals, the 4-H project for kids who love dogs, is sponsoring AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Classes and AKC Canine Good Citizens classes beginning Tuesday, September 7th - October 26th, 2010. Classes will be held at the Centerville Show Barn. S.T.A.R. puppy classes will begin at 5:30pm and last 50 minutes. Canine Good Citizen classes will begin at 6:30 and last 50 minutes.
