Buffalo High students and parents: Schedule pickups and registration for high school students will be Thursday, August 12, from 5-8 p.m. All students and parents need to attend and pick up schedules and complete paperwork for the upcoming school year. Schedule changes really need to be made at this time if possible. The last day for schedule changes is August 20. School begins August 23!

Ephesus Baptist Church invites everyone to their quarterly singing Friday night, August 13, 2010 starting at 7:00 p.m. We will meet at our Family Life Center. We will be set up in a dinner theater setting in order to eat and enjoy the great music at the same time. We are located about 3 1/2 miles south of Jewett off of Hwy. 79 on CR 346 about 1/2 mile. Oakwood Dirty Riderz 2nd Annual School Supply Drive benefiting the students of Oakwood ISD. It is our hope to collect donations of school supplies to ensure that all students in Oakwood schools have the materials they need to begin the new school year. Supplies will be collected until August 13 at Oakwood City Hall and Oakwood Feed & Farm Supply, or may be given to April “Kourage” Brown or Linda Johnson. AARP Meeting - Please try to be in attendance at our August 17th meeting. Our program will consist of “All-Aroundthe House Hints”, Great Greenery Solutions, Secret Food Cures, etc. Bring food and have fun with friends.

Buffalo Junior High 6th, 7th and 8th graders can pick up their schedules for the 2010- 2011 school year on Thursday, August 19 or Friday, August 20th from 9:00 until 3:00. These may be picked up at the upper junior high building (formerly the high school).

Garage Sale - The Ladies Sunday School class at Calvary Baptist Church, Centerville, is sponsoring a garage sale, Friday, August 27th and Saturday, August 28th. On Friday the sale will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday the sale will be from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.

Flo Volunteer Fire Department meets the first Thursday of each month for their monthly business meeting at the Flo Community Center at 7:00 p.m.
