Fayrene Cook Bing

Services for Fayrene Cook Bing age 91, of Oakwood will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Calvary Christian Center, Oakwood with Rev. Jack Smith, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster, Palestine.

Mrs. Bing died Sunday at East Texas Medical Center in Fairfield. She was born August 5, 1918 in Upshur County to Mont C. and Viola Mary Davis Cook. Mrs. Bing worked for Farmers Home Administration, Oakwood State Bank, the Oakwood ISD, and was a Avon representative for many years.

Mrs. Bing was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Byron Udell Bing in 2001, a son-in-law James D. Casey and a sister Jeannie Jordan. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Glenda and Bobby, a son and daughter-in-law Brent and Kelly, a sister and brother-inlaw Stella and Elwood Oldes of Slidell, LA., a cousin Elanor Cook of Sacramento, CA., grandchildren Jason, Calvin, and Nathanael.

Pallbearers will be Joe Bing, Terry Bing, Paul Bing, Jason Bing Casey, Pete Ansley, James H. Eldridge, Calvin Young and Nathanael Young.

Condolence calls will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home, Palestine.
