Jerry Wakefield 07-14-10 Deputy Jack Tomlinson was dispatched to CR 480 in Centerville in reference to a residential burglary alarm. Deputy Chris Nash responded to CR 2691in Buffalo to speak with a complainant in reference to a suspicious vehicle parked on the property. Lt. Kevin Ellis met with a complainant at LCSO in reference to a report of phone harassment. Deputy Chris Nash was dispatched to Hwy 75 in Leona in reference to an assault. Suspect later turned themselves in on warrant for Assault: Causing Bodily Injury. Family Violence Advocate was notified. Deputy Brian Stafford was dispatched to CR 315 in Buffalo in reference to a report of a stolen Rhino ATV. Investigation showed the ATV had been repossessed. Deputy Brian Stafford responded to Cattle Trail Rd near Midway (Leon County) in reference to a report of suspicious activity on the property.

07-15-10 Deputy Jack Tomlinson met with a complainant in LCSO lobby in reference to a welfare concern. Deputy Jack Tomlinson responded to CR 344 in Marquez in reference to suspicious activity, someone knocking on his door and walking around the house outside. Deputy Jerry Grimes responded to 3rd Street in Normangee for a welfare concern. Deputy Chris Nash was dispatched to a business in Jewett in reference to a suspicious customer cursing at employees. Deputy Chris Nash was dispatched to V.W. Goodwin Blvd. in Marquez in reference to a domestic disturbance. Suspect was arrested at scene for Assault: Causing Bodily Injury-Family Violence. Family Violence Advocate was notified. Deputy Jerry Grimes contacted a complainant on CR 386 in Marquez in reference to a report of an animal attack, a donkey attacking a girl. The girl was transported to the hospital by a family member. Deputy Brian Stafford contacted a complainant at a business in Centerville for a report of phone harassment. Deputy Dwight Myers contacted a complainant at LCSO lobby in reference to a civil standby. Deputy Brian Stafford was contacted by a subject requesting a civil standby on CR 313 in Buffalo. Deputy Dwight Myers was dispatched to the area of the west service road on I-45 in reference to several subjects walking and trying to flag vehicles down. Subjects were gone when the officer arrived in the area.

07-16-10 Deputy Brian Stafford responded as back-up to Buffalo PD in reference to a domestic disturbance with a weapon. Deputy Jack Tomlinson was dispatched to the Tetco in Centerville in reference to a burglary alarm. Upon arrival he found the business had been vandalized and broken into. Investigation pending. Investigator Dee Craft was notified of a sexual assault and responded to Oakwood for the investigation. Deputy Jerry Grimes contacted a complainant on V.W. Goodwin Blvd. in Marquez in reference to phone harassment. Deputy Sharon Williams responded to the I-45 feeder north in Buffalo in reference to a domestic disturbance in progress. Family Violence Advocate was notified. Deputy Jerry Grimes contacted a complainant on CR 203 in Centerville in reference to a civil dispute over a vehicle. Deputy Jerry Grimes met with a complainant at LCSO in reference to a request for a civil standby on FM 811 to pick up a child. Deputy Dwight Myers was dispatched to N. Main in Oakwood in reference to a complaint of stray dogs on the property not allowing the owner to their residence. Deputy Jack Tomlinson was dispatched to Days Inn in Centerville in reference to a welfare concern. Deputy Dwight Myers was dispatched to CR 149 in Centerville for a report of a burglary of a building. Deputy Dwight Myers responded to Clute Rd. in Leona in reference to a report of a noise disturbance. Upon arrival officers located a party with several juveniles drinking alcohol. They were cited for “Consumption of Alcoholic Beverage by Minor”. The information will be forwarded to Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.

Deputy Jack Tomlinson responded to a stranded motorist on Hwy 79 near CR 327 in Jewett. Deputy Sharon Williams responded to Days Inn in Centerville to assist medics with a patient. Deputy Sharon Williams was dispatched to CR 2431 in Oakwood in reference a welfare concern. Deputy Dwight Myers responded to CR 408 near Flynn in reference to a report of a burglary of a habitation where copper and electrical wire was stolen. Deputy Bart Dorman was dispatched to Hwy 79 east in Oakwood in reference to a welfare concern. Deputy Dwight Myers responded to PR 2225 in Buffalo in reference to a welfare concern. Deputy Bart Dorman was dispatched to CR 420 near Normangee for a complaint of loud music. Deputy Bart Dorman responded to CR 2811 out of Centerville in reference to an intoxicated subject.

07-18-10 Deputy Dwight Myers responded to a business in Centerville for a report of a suspicious person walking near the business after hours. Deputy Bart Dorman was dispatched to the area of Ward St. in Centerville for a report of possible shots fired. Deputy Jerry Grimes responded to CR 314 in Jewett in reference to an unwanted subject on the property. Deputy Sharon Williams contacted a complainant on CR 429 in Marquez in reference to a report of threats. Deputy Dwight Myers was dispatched to CR 387 in reference to a domestic disturbance. Family Violence Advocate was notified.

07-19-10 Deputy Bart Dorman was dispatched to FM 977 west in Flynn for a report of a possible burglary in progress. Deputy Dwight Myers responded to CR 490 in Normangee in reference to a residential burglary alarm. Deputy Sharon Williams responded to W. St. Mary’s in Centerville in reference to a report of loose livestock. Deputy Sharon Williams was dispatched to FM 542 near Centerville in reference to a report of several hundred gallons of diesel stolen. Investigation pending. Deputy Sharon Williams responded to CR 480 near Centerville in reference to a burglary alarm. Deputy Brian Stafford was dispatched to I-45 at the 163mm north bound for a report of a car fire. Centerville Volunteer Fire Dept. also responded and contained the fire. Deputy Brian Stafford responded to OSR and FM 2485 near Leona in reference to a report of loose livestock. Lt. Kevin Ellis contacted a complainant on FM 542 near Oakwood in reference to a theft report. Deputy Bart Dorman was dispatched to Hwy 39 in Flynn in reference to an alarm.

Deputy Chris Nash contacted a complaint on CR 212 out of Buffalo in reference to a report of a stolen Troybuilt riding lawn mower. Chief Deputy Brent Walter contacted a complainant at LCSO lobby in reference to a property dispute with a neighbor dozing down his trees on CR 275 out of Buffalo. Deputy Brian Stafford responded to FM 977 east in reference to a report of loose livestock, horses near the roadway. Deputy Jack Tomlinson responded to the area of W. Gresham St. in Centerville in reference to a suspicious vehicle parked in the area. Deputy Bart Dorman was dispatched to PR 1195 in reference to a report of an assault.
