Meals on Wheels is sponsoring a National 42 Players Association Tournament on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the Palestine Senior Activity Center 200 N. Church Street from 8 am until all games are finished. Registration fee is $20 per person or $40 per team. The fee includes prizes and lunch. For more information, call 903-729-0255.

Attention Incoming 9th - 12th grade Bison and Lady Bison: Pre-Season Volleyball Practice begins Monday, Aug. 2, 2010 at 8:00 am at the NEW BHS gymnasium. Football two-a-days will be from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

We Care Support Group will meet August 2 at 1:30 p.m. at the fellowship hall of Buffalo Missionary Baptist Church, Haggard & Main Street behind Tom’s Mini Mart. If you are grieving the loss of a loved one or if you are a caregiver, you are cordially invited to join this group. Some of our folks have lost family members several years ago and the ways they have coped are most helpful to others. If you know someone who would benefit from this support, please give them a call.
