Dadie L. Maxine) Haynes Kinchion

Funeral services for Mrs. Kinchion, age 68, were held on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at 10:30a.m. at Ricks-Bowers Funeral Home in Jewett. Visitation was held on Friday, July 9, 2010 from 6:oopm from 7:00p.m. At the funeral home.

O’ what a glorious day when Dadie Lee “Maxine” Kinchion entered into the world on June 2, 1942, to the parents of Dadie and Ethel Smith Haynes. As a young child, she was obedient and took pleasure in cleaning the family home and cooking. She performed her duties so well she was model for her siblings, nieces and nephews to follow. Her little sister Addie looked up to her and wanted to be just like her because she thought she was very beautiful. Her parents introduced her to Christ at an early age and she accepted Him into her Life and again was obedient.

Growing up in Jewett, Texas she attended George Washington Carver School. One of her greatest achievements in life was giving birth to a hardworking and handsome son Arthur Gene Haynes, who she loved and would speak with on a daily basis. After leaving home to live in Houston, Texas she became an x-ray technician and worked in that capacity for five years. After leaving Houston, Texas she moved to Los Angeles, CA and graduated with a degree in Psychology. She enjoyed the fabulous life, dressed to impress and calling her family. Each time she would call home she would end the call with “I Love You”.

In her later years when she became ill she moved to Texas to be close to her family. Her brother E.J. & wife Dolores took special care of his older sister until the day Jesus came to take care of her for eternity. On July 6, 2010, she was blessed to receive Everlasting Peace. Those that preceded her in death: husband, Walter Kinchion; father, Dadie Haynes; mother, Ethel Haynes and niece, Amanda K. Haynes.

Those left to carry on her legacy: son, Arthur Gene Haynes; siblings, Addie Haynes Roblow of Dallas, E.J. Haynes & wife Dolores of Jewett; nieces, Cherrender Brown & husband Shamorgan of Dallas, Natacha Roblow of Dallas, and Destiny Tinsley of Teague; nephews, Jermaine Roblow & wife Melody of Dallas, Fredrick Roblow, Earnest Dewitt Haynes & Sarah of Jewett, Marcus Haynes of Normangee, Joshua Haynes of Normangee and Trey Tinsley of Jewett; great nieces and nephews, Addie Roblow, Audrey Roblow, NaTara Williams, Sha’Morgan Brown, Cherrender M.
