Chief Pavelka to Commerce Street for business alarm. Upon arrival, officer made contact with employee who advised they had not reset the alarm on the safe. Officer noticed nothing out of the ordinary. Call cleared.
Chief Pavelka received call regarding an assault on a juvenile that was being taken to Fairfield ER. Remains under investigation.
Officer Hutchison on Commerce Street for traffic stop. Vehicle occupant was found in violation of an active protective order between himself and the vehicle driver. Subject was arrested and transported to LCSO for violation of the order.
Officer Mouton to Center Street for agency assist. Officer was contacted by LCSO Deputy Bryan to assist with checking a location that may be involved in an investigation he was conducting. Officer checked location and reported back to the deputy.
Officer Mouton to Highway 79 West for agency assist with alarm call. Upon arrival, officer checked perimeter and found no signs of entry. Call cleared.
Officer Mouton to Highway 79 East for agency assist with loose livestock. Upon arrival, officer located the livestock. Owner arrived and returned them to the enclosure.

Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for report of reckless driver. Officer received report of possible reckless driver coming from the Oakwood area. Officer waited for vehicle described to get to city limits but was unable to locate.

Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for security issue. Officer was contacted by local business owner regarding a security issue at his business location. Officer went to business location and made sure all was secure per owner’s request.
Officer Hutchison & Officer Haynie to Commerce Street for hold up alarm. Upon arrival, officers were notified by employees that they had unknowingly activated the alarm. Cleared as info.
Sgt Ferrand to Jewett for agency assist with property dispute. Officer was contacted by LCSO to assist with call due to deputies being unavailable. Upon arrival, officer met with subject regarding a vehicle she had purchased but not received the title. After speaking with parties involved, officer advised that it was a civil matter and to contact local JP office. Cleared as info.
Sgt Ferrand to Legalley Street for report of fallen tree. Upon arrival, officer found large portion of tree had fallen on several vehicles and pulled a power line from a home. Public Works arrived on scene and determined that the tree was on private property. Homeowner was contacted to have it cleared. Cleared as info.

Sgt Ferrand & Chief Pavelka to Commerce Street for loose dog growling at subjects. Upon arrival, officers found large black dog on business property. Officer approached the dog which left the location. Owner came on scene and took custody of dog saying it had slipped its collar. Cleared as info.
Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for report of reckless vehicle. Officer waited at city limits for vehicle to pass. Officer did not observe any signs of reckless driving. Cleared as unfounded.
Officer Hutchison to CR 309 for agency assist with suspect of suspicious activity. Upon arrival, officer assisted with Spanish translation and suspect was released to his spouse. Cleared as info.
Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for agency assist with a suspicious person. Upon arrival, officer met with LCSO Deputy Myers regarding a harassment complaint by the Greyhound bus driver. Driver advised a person had entered the bus without consent and was harassing the passengers. Suspect was identified and told not to enter the bus again. It was found that no passengers had been harassed. Cleared as info.
Officer Hutchison to IH 45 for possible DWI. Officer located and followed vehicle that could not maintain single marked lane. Officer stopped vehicle and found driver had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and person. DPS Trooper Asby arrived and found driver to be intoxicated. Driver was arrested by Trooper Asby for DWI. Officer then made contact with passenger who had exited the vehicle and also had strong odor of alcohol on him. After further investigation, he was also found to be intoxicated and was arrested and transported to LCSO for processing. Officer issued citation for Public Intoxication.
Officer Hutchison to Pecan Street for loud music. Upon arrival, officer made contact with parties present and advised them to turn the music down. They complied. Cleared as info.
Officer St. Clair to Commerce Street for assist with funeral escort.
Officer St. Clair to Turtle Creek Drive to assist EMS on medical call. Officer assisted EMS in finding the street location.
Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for suspicious person. Upon arrival, officer met with subject dancing and yelling in the parking lot. Officer advised subject that she needed to vacate the area. She returned to her vehicle and exited the property. Cleared as info.
Officer Haynie to Blain Street for civil matter. Upon arrival, officer spoke with subject regarding a vehicle he was selling. Subject advised that someone had picked up the vehicle and the potential buyer claimed to not have any info on it. Officer made contact with the potential buyer and found it was in his possession and it would be returned that evening. No other police action was taken.
Officer Mouton to Jewett for agency assist with disturbance. Upon arrival, officer secured scene until Jewett PD could arrive. Call cleared.
Officer Mouton to Commerce Street for theft. Upon arrival, officer made contact with subject who had shoplifted items in the amount of $5.33. Officer issued a citation for Theft Class C and a criminal trespass warning to the subject. Call cleared.
Officer Mouton to Cedar Creek Road for disturbance. Upon arrival, officer made contact with subjects involved. It was found that no violence had occurred and one subject left the residence. Call cleared.
Officer Mouton to Jewett for agency assist with alarm call. Upon arrival, officer checked perimeter fence and found secure. Officer was unable to contact the key holder. Call cleared.
Officer Mouton to Commerce Street for problem with customer at restaurant. Upon arrival, officer met with employee who advised that a customer did not want to pay for food received. Officer made contact with subject who then paid without incident.
Officer Mouton to Commerce Street for alarm call. Upon arrival, officer checked building and found no signs of entry.
