That was the suggestion made by Flo Water Board Director Richard McLelland. He was referring to the question of whether or not the Board needed to spend $6,800 to add an additional 37 gpm to the water production capacity at the Flo Remote Well. According to Field Supervisor Brandon Barzda's report, "The two wells are sufficient production capacity and with the new well, we will meet TCEQ requirements." The Board voted in agreement with McLelland's suggestion.

The board had questions for Barzda concerning the rising water loss numbers. Barzda spoke of illegal water taps contributing to water loss numbers as well as leaks. He assured the board that he was working to fix leaks as soon as possible and working with the Sheriff's Department to resolve the illegal tapping problem. One such tap had been discovered. It is not yet known how large the operation was.

Community National Bank requires six different signatures of board members to be on file that are allowed to sign checks. Right now there are technically seven names on that list but two of those individuals are no longer on the board. It is therefore necessary to add one name. The new board members available to do this are Dave Albert and Jack Williams. Albert was unable to attend the meeting due to illness. The matter was tabled until the matter could be discussed with Albert.

The June 10, 2010 min- utes were discussed and approved per regulations. Richa rd Moran requested to have the budget financial report list last year’s YTD expenses alongside this year's for comparison. Tilley said she would look into it. The June 22, 2010 special called meeting minutes were amended to reflect the "special called" instead of regular meeting.

Treasurer Joe Graves presided over this month's meeting. President Bob Boettcher was in on vacation while Vice President Wallace Jones was at home recovering from a recent heart attack. Graves expressed his relief at knowing they would both be back soon.
