Buffalo High School principals resign

Personnel matters dominated a special called meeting of the Buffalo ISD School Board on Thursday, July 1st. The Board was notified of the resignation of Buffalo High School principal Don Elsom, who is leaving to take the superintendent position at Latexo ISD. Tina Elsom also submitted her resignation from Buffalo Elementary. Also tendering their resignations were BHS assistant principal Roy Longcrier and teacher Tony Leach, and instructional aide Andy Anderson.

The Board approved several hiring recommendations. New employees include Teresa McNabb, who will be teaching math at the junior high. Rebecca Ruen and Jim Oneal join the staff at the high school, and Carlos Daniel returns to BISD as an instructional aide/coach.
