4th of July Home and Garden Fair

Get Ready for the 4th of July Home and Garden Show. It will again be held by the Texas AgriLife Extension Service at the First United Methodist Church of Centerville. A few changes have been made in the last year, so please be sure to come by the Extension office located on the 3rd floor of the Leon County Annex I or call 903- 536-2531 for more information.

Some notable changes are in the Photography Show once again. Entry fees for PHOTOGRAPHY ONLY are $5.00 each photo. This fee covers mounting materials so that all photos will be mounted and displayed the same. Please bring only the unmounted photo to enter. Once entered, you will mount your photo and fill out the correct label for the back of the photo. Photography entries only may be entered beginning June 28th at the Texas AgriLife Extension Office.

To enter, bring all of your items to the Centerville First United Methodist Church between 8:00 a.m. and 12 noon, on July 2, 2010. There is a fee of $1.00 per item for adults and 50-cents per item for youth entries.

All baked goods and fresh fruits and vegetables will be auctioned by silent auction on July 3rd between 8:00 a.m. and noon. Items bought will be available at 1:00 p.m. and all entries can be picked up between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. on the 3rd.
