Bison senior Aaron Bell earned a well-deserved spot on the First Team All District at the short-stop position. The Texas Baseball Coaches have made their All-District selections for the 2010 season and BHS senior Aaron Bell earned a spot on the First Team All-District at the shortstop position. Bell was an opponent’s nightmare on defense, shining at the shortstop position, but also able to contribute from the mound and behind the plate. On offense his capable batting and savvy base-running was a vital part of the Bison’s game. Junior Ryan Read earned a spot on Second Team All-District as a utility player. Read, too, contributed anywhere he was asked to play -- covering short, pitching or catching, as needed.

Six other Bison were named to the Honorable Mention All-District Team, led by seniors Logan Beard - First Base (and just one vote shy of

the Second Team) and Dylan Ansley - Center Field. Freshman Ty Tollett was Honorable Mention Pitcher, and only one vote shy of Newcomer of the Year honors. Travis King was HM 3rd Base, Tate Hartley HM 2nd Base and Jacob Rodell HM DH.
