Thirty-five gardeners accept perfect tomato challenge

Thirty-five gardeners have accepted the Leon County Master Gardeners’ challenge for the “Perfect Tomato Contest”. Plants should be well established and ready for the 4th of July contest. Challengers should bring their “Perfect Tomato” to the First United Methodist Church in Centerville on Fri- day July 2, anytime between 9:00am and 12:00pm. Judging of the tomatoes will begin at 1:00pm. Good Luck to all our challengers.
