Cleathern “Clea” Fuller

Cleathern Fuller passed away at his home on May 18, 2010 in Flynn, Texas. He was born on September 2, 1947 in Pineville, Louisiana to Leabri and Daisy Fuller. He was raised in Pineville but worked in Baton Rouge, Shreveport, and Houston before calling Flynn home. He started his career with Missouri-Pacific Railroad before he started his own commercial driver leasing firm. In retirement, Clea stayed even busier on his ranch in Flynn. He also loved to travel to exotic areas around the world in his free time He was a proud Vietnam veteran and a Navy Seabees, a Mason, a Flynn Fire Department volunteer, and faithful representative for the Normangee School Board. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend to all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife Jenny Smith Fuller; children Todd Fuller and his wife, Courtney of Lafayette, Louisiana; Reese Fuller and his wife Heather of Lafayette, Louisiana; daughter Jennifer Fuller Painter of Nashville, Tennessee; Eric Masala-Fuller of Conroe; Jason Smith of Houston; Justin Smith and his wife Trish of Burleson; brother Kendall Fuller, sister Ellen Dubie, and twelve grandchildren - Hadley, Dylan, Sadie, Connor, Andrew, Henry, Bird, Madyson, Gavyn, Brayden, Skye, and Ashlynn. He was preceded in death by his father, Leabri Fuller.

A funeral mass was held on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas. Interment followed at the Closer to Heaven Cemetery on the Fuller property. Walters Funeral Home in Centerville, Texas was in charge of all arrangements.

Pallbearers were Todd Fuller, Reese Fuller, Eric Masala-Fuller, Jason Smith, Justin Smith, and Jay Roberts. Honorary Pallbearers were Tom Stevens, Jean Rozzell, Walter Hodges, Donald Kubiak, Norman Bush, and Gus Rodriguez.
