Houseman presents EE program

The Oakwood Extension Education Club met on May 13, 2010 at the Methodist Church. The meeting was called to order by the President Sandra Botard. The minutes from the April 8, 2010 meeting were read by the Secretary Judy Thomason. A business meeting in regard to the State Conference in Wichita Falls and several items on the program were discussed. We are so proud that two of our members, Jan Poston and Geri Ivey have entries that will be going to the State Conference. We are wishing them Good Luck!

The program was presented by Charlene Houseman titled "Gardening". Charlene gave a very informative and interesting talk in regards to plants and gardening in general. Charlene answered many of our members' questions and had some very good suggestions. After the program, we were treated to a delicious Mexican lunch served by Charlene Houseman, Judy Dorsett, Geri Ivey and Betty LeFlore. The next meeting will be the club's last meeting for the year, we are planning on having it at the StageCoach Deli in Buffalo.
