Lady Bison bow out of playoffs
     Heavy rain throughout the area Friday night forced softball coaches to reschedule regional quarterfinal contests. Buffalo and Warren were scheduled to meet Friday at 7:00 at Sam Houston State University, but thunderstorms postponed the game. Thirty minutes after game time with rains still falling, the game was moved to Saturday at 11:00.

Lady Tigers’ Track Team shares 2A state title

     For the first time in school history Centerville is a state champion! The Lady Tigers of Centerville brought home the silver medal in the 4x200 relay running a 1:45:01, Gold Medal in the 4x400 relay running a 3:59.56 and tied with Altair Rice for the overall Class 2A State Championship title with 36 points.

     The Centerville Tennis team had 4 representatives at the UIL State Tennis Championships held May 10-11 at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center on the UT campus in Austin. The Tigers were well represented in the tournament.
