Lady Bison softballers ready for Regional Quarterfinals

The Lady Bison softball team had a bye this week after defeating Hemphill for the bi-district title last week. The next round in the playoffs will take them to the Regional Quarterfinals against the Lady Warriors of Warren High School. The one-game, winner-take-all playoff contest will be at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville on Friday, May 14 at 7:00 pm.

“Warren has been to the playoffs before and they’re solid,” Coach Warren Ringland pointed out. “And our girls were looking good against Hemphill. I’m a little concerned about the rest, having a bye week, but other than that, I think we’re ready.”
