Ephesus Baptist Church invites everyone to their quarterly singing Friday night, May 14, 2010 starting at 7 p.m.. We will meet in our Family Life Center. We will be set up in a dinner theater setting in order to eat and enjoy the great music at the same time. We encourage all musicians to join us in sharing God’s music. Come be a blessing and get a blessing. We are located about 3 1/2 miles south of Jewett off of Hwy 79 on Cr 346 about 1/2 mile. Shiloh Musical and Social - Saturday, May 15, the Shiloh Community Association will host its monthly Musical and Social. Everyone is invited to come for a night of down home country music by A Touch of Grass featuring Dusty and Trish Brewer. Entertainment starts at 6 p.m.. The meal at 7 p.m. will consist of chili cheese dogs, Frito pie, drinks and dessert for five dollars. A cake auction will be held during intermission as well as a drawing for a door prize.

The City of Groesbeck has teamed together with Groesbeck Economic Development and local sponsors to present the 44th annual Southwest Fiddlers Championship Fiddler’s Contest. The contest will be held at the City Park Pavilion on SH 164 West in Groesbeck. The Masonic Lodge #354 will host the BB Q. The Fiddlers Contest, an annual event will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010.

The Liberty Cemetery Annual

Memorial will be held on Sunday, May 23rd. A short business meeting and memorial services will begin at around 11:00 a.m., followed by a covered dish lunch. Shiloh Community Association

to Elect new officers - Officers for the positions of President, Vice-president, Secretary and Treasurer are to be elected at the June meeting, to be held on June 8th at 6 p.m.. Any person interested in any of these positions is asked to attend the meeting. Qualifications to seek these positions will be given at this time. The community Center is located South of Mexia, off Highway 39 at the Shiloh Cemetery exit off LCR 433/439.

Flo Volunteer Fire Department: First Thursday of each month - Business Meeting meets at Flo Community Center at 7:00 p.m. third Thursday of each month.
