Bison men wrap up 2010 season

The Buffalo Bison Varsity baseball team finished up their 2010 season on the road at Anderson-Shiro on Tuesday, April 20th.
In the opening inning, BHS went three up, three down. Travis King was on the mound for Buffalo in the bottom of the inning and he struck out one batter and retired the side in four.
The Bison left one man stranded in the second. The Owls took the lead with an earned run in the bottom of the inning, and left one man standing. In the bottom of the third the Owls exploded with 9 runs.
In the top of the fourth Bell singled, then stole second and third but was stranded.
Bell came in to pitch the fourth and threw two strickouts to retire the side in three.
Buffalo finally got on the scoreboard in the fifth, with Dylan Ansley reaching on a single to center, advancing on a single by Jacob Rodell and scoring on a single by Tate Hartley before the Owl’s defense was able to set the Bison down.

In the bottom of the inning, Bell struck out one, walked two and pegged a batter to load the bases, and another walk scored the win- ning run. Anderson-Shiro took the win, 11-1.
A final game scheduled for Friday against Groveton was rained out and will not be rescheduled.
The Bison finished the season with a 6-14 record and were 2-11 in District Play.
