Jerry P. Caveness

Mr. Jerry Caveness, 69, of Jewett passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan. He was born on June 6, 1940 in Jacksonville to John Weldon and Veda Lee Lusk Caveness. A memorial service will be held at a later date. He is survived by his daughter, Connie Lynn Henry of Porter; son, Michael Caveness & wife Kelly of Jewett; five grandsons, Michael Wayne Caveness & wife Katie of Coppers Cove, Little Sonny Henry of Center, Darren Henry of Bryan, Tyler Caveness of New Caney and Keaton Caveness of Jewett; one great grandson, Jase Caveness; his mother, Veda Caveness of Bryan; three brothers, Gary Caveness & wife Jean of Groveton, Ronnie Caveness & wife Teresa of Arkansas and John Caveness & wife Connie of Tomball; one sister, Gay Zinn of Bryan; other relatives and friends. Mr. Caveness was preceded in death by his father, John Weldon Caveness; one granddaughter, Wendi Lynn Henry and one brotherin law, Bennie A. Zinn Jr.
