Veterans - take note! Leon County will host Veteran’s Appreciation Day on Saturday, May 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Veterans, active military and spouses no charge. Nonveterans’ meal is $10. Chow is served at noon at the Champion Ranch (4 miles south of Centerville on Hwy 1119.) Special guests will include the U.S. Cavalry. More ...
