Ladies Results at District The Lady Bison track team showed well at the 21AA track meet last Wednesday and Thursday. The team accrued 78 points, and advanced seven of its eight members to the regional track meet May 3rd and 4th in Whitehouse. More ... After an 8-1 loss to district champion Corrigan- Camden on Tuesday, the Lady Bison found themselves in a need to win situation on Friday. A win over Onalaska was needed to secure a playoff berth for Buffalo. A loss would give the Lady Cats a toe-hold into the battle for second and third. The Lady Bison held off a fifth inning threat to win 9-4 over Onalaska. More ... The Bison hosted their final two home games this week. They lost a highscoring game on Tuesday but finished with a solid win over Onalaska for the home fans on Senior Night on Friday. CORRIGAN-CAMDEN More ... GIRLS The junior varsity girls track team won the whole bag of marbles last week at the district meet. Buffalo outdistanced the nearest competitor by 30 points to bring home the big trophy. Ana Lopez and Ella Corbin competed in the shot and discus. Lopez finished third in the discus while Corbin finished fourth. The two traded places in the shot put competition. More ... The Leon Lady Cougars traveled to Teague on April 13th needing a victory to nail down 3rd place in the district and advance to the state playoffs for the second consecutive year. More ... VS NEW WAVERLY The Centerville Lady Tigers defeated New Waverly 11-8 on April 13th. With the win and a Buffalo Bison loss the Tigers moved into a tie with Buffalo for 2nd place. More ... The 2010 Buffalo Youth Baseball & Girls Softball league is hosting its Opening Day Ceremonies this Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Harriman Park. More ... The Centerville ladies ran away with the team championship with 195 points at the District Track Meet held in Groveton on April 14th and 15th. More ... Oakwood is moving up in the world!
