Alta Rea Morse

She was mainly a homemaker but worked a variety of jobs including a position with International Paper in Springhill, LA, as a seamstress in a department store in Florida and in a convenience store in Louisiana. Mrs. Morse had lived in the Jewett/Robbins area for several years before moving to Queen City, near Texarkana, to be near a daughter. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church in Atlanta, TX. Her health declined over the last few years and she passed away in a nursing facility in Texarkana on April 9, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents and her second husband, W.B.
