      Pete was born May 30, 1919 in Eldorendo, GA, the son of Eulie W. Hatcher and Aluta Mae Valentine Hatcher. He was a graduate of Pine Hill High School and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked for the Bainbridge Fire Department from 1938 to 1939 and was a retired salesman for Sears. He was s lifetime member of Orion Lodge # 8 F. & A. M.

Richard Ray officiated at the service and interment was in Concord Cemetery west of Centerville. Walters Funeral Home in Centerville was in charge of arrangements.
