Buffalo Police Report

Lance Pavelka Lance Pavelka Sgt Ferrand to IH 45 for loose livestock. Upon arrival, officer located loose livestock and herded it back to wooded area. Tree was removed from damaged fence and mended enough to keep cattle inside. Call cleared.

Officer Mouton to CR 355 for agency assist. Officer assisted Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1, in locating residence. Call cleared.

Officer Haynie to Second Street for disturbance. Assisted by Chief Pavelka. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Reportee regarding an argument with her son. Son agreed to remove himself to another location until they could work out their differences. No other police action was taken.

Officer Haynie to Commerce Street for possible intoxicated person. Upon arrival, subject was located outside of business and appeared to be intoxicated. A family member arrived and took custody of the subject. No other police action was taken.

Officer Mouton to Center Street for death investigation. Officer received call regarding a possible drug overdose. Victim was deceased upon arrival. JP 1 was contacted. Remains under investigation.

Officer Haynie to First Street for disturbance. Assisted by Chief Pavelka. Upon arrival, officers spoke with subject regarding her being upset with her husband. Husband agreed to stay with a friend until they could resolve their differences. No other police action was needed at this time.

Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for an assault. Remains under investigation.

Officer Hutchison & Officer St. Clair to Gene Street for suspicious activity. Upon arrival, officers made contact with tenant who found damage to her window screen. Officers discovered and removed a knife from the window sill. Other windows were found intact. Damage was documented.

Officer Hutchison to Golden Acres for four wheeler complaint. Upon arrival, officer spoke with Complaintant who advised several persons were riding four wheelers at excessive speed on the roadway and on other people’s property. Officer located several juveniles and advised them to remain off the roadway and, due to the late hour, discontinue riding.

Officer Hutchison to Main Street for telephone harassment. Officer received statement at Buffalo PD office from victim regarding subject harassing him. Officer contacted subject who claimed he did not harass the victim. Call was documented.

Officer Hutchison to Second Street for possible intoxicated subject. Upon arrival, officer located subject who had consumed several alcoholic beverages. Officer released subject into the custody of resident at the location.

Officer Hutchison to Michael Avenue for disturbance. Officer received report regarding subject damaging an apartment door. Upon arrival, officer located subject and took him into custody for Criminal Mischief.

Officer Hutchison to IH 45 for two vehicle crash. Officer secured scene and assisted DPS Trooper Adams when he arrived.

Officer Mouton to Commerce Street for business alarm. Upon arrival, officer found building secure. Call cleared.

Officer Mouton to Highway 79 West for agency assist with loose livestock. Upon arrival, officer was unable to locate any livestock. Call cleared.

Officer Mouton to Jewett for agency assist. Officer received call to assist LCSO Deputy Myers on a prowler call in Jewett. Unable to locate subject. Call cleared.

Officer Hutchison & Cpl Mata to IH 45 for two vehicle crash. Upon arrival, officer’s secured scene until DPS could arrive.

Cpl Mata and Officer Russell received call at Buffalo PD regarding Identity Theft. Remains under investigation.

Officer Haynie to Buffalo Avenue for silent alarm. Upon arrival, officer checked business and found secure.

Officer Haynie, Officer St. Claire and Officer Hutchison to Humphreys Street for disturbance. Upon arrival, residence was empty. Tenant arrived and confirmed that she and spouse had an argument and that he had left. Officers located spouse later and he confirmed that argument had occurred and that he was residing somewhere else until they could resolve their differences.

Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for possible public intoxication. Subject was gone upon arrival.

Officer Hutchison to Merriman Street for possible burglary of motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officer spoke with subject regarding seeing a suspicious vehicle and person around his work vehicle. Vehicle had fled the scene before officer’s arrival. After inspection, nothing appeared to be missing from the vehicle.

Officer Hutchison to Legalley Street for loud noise. While on routine patrol, officer heard yelling coming from a residence. Subjects were located and advised go quiet down.

Officer Hutchison to Legalley Street for disturbance. Upon arrival, officer made contact with subject who advised that he had been in a verbal argument with his girlfriend. He stated that he was vacating the property.

Officer Hutchison to Houck Street for possible shots fired. Officer made contact with resident in the area who advised he had heard a single shot fired from a neighbor’s house. Officer then made contact with the neighbor who had no knowledge regarding the incident. Cleared as info.

Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for unwanted guests. Officer met with manager of hotel and person involved regarding two rooms he rented using his sister’s employee discount. Subject was asked to pay remaining balance of rooms which he did. Cleared as info.

Officer Hutchison to Houck Street for welfare concern. Upon arrival, officer met with resident regarding her power being out. Electric company arrived to address the situation. Cleared as info.

Officer Hutchison to Buffalo Avenue for possible discharging of a firearm. Officer received call regarding a vehicle allegedly discharging a gun then vacating the scene. No damage was reported and no one was injured. Suspects were gone upon arrival and no vehicle matching the description was located in the immediate area.

Officer Hutchison to Jewett for agency assist. Officer was contacted by Jewett PD Cheney to assist with a disturbance. Upon arrival, it was determined no assault had occurred. Cleared as info.

Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for unwanted subjects. Upon arrival, officer made contact with manager of hotel regarding subjects that had rented a room the previous night and had failed to checkout. Subjects advised they had paid for extra night but, in fact, had not. They were allowed to collect their belongings before they vacated the premises.

Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for a disabled vehicle. Upon arrival, officer made contact with subjects regarding their vehicle. After further investigation, two felony narcotic arrests were made.

Officer Haynie to Commerce Street for disturbance. Officer made contact with Reportee regarding a vehicle that appeared to be harassing her while she was driving. License plate given was incorrect. No other police action was taken.

Officer Haynie to Buffalo Avenue for minor vehicle crash. Both drivers agreed to exchange insurance info.
