If you've spent as much time online as I have, you've probably already come face-to-face with reality. As much as I'd like to, there's simply no possible way to see everything. Youtube gets a full day's worth of video uploaded every minute. In reality, you really shouldn't want to try and see everything, because, as the wisdom goes, 90% of everything is crap. The trick is to find the 10% of things that you like, and to make it easier to find.
There are a few tools you can use to make both of those steps easier. The most powerful one that I've come across is Google Reader, an RSS newsfeed reader built into the Google suite and available at google.com/reader. Just log in with your google account, and start adding the addresses of the websites you spend so much time visiting every day. Google automatically reads the changes to those pages, and adds an item to the Reader inbox every time your favorite blog posts a new article.
Google Reader also makes it easy to find new material that will interest you. When you use the 'like' button on individual articles, Google will make suggestions of other blogs or individual posts that you might like. Just be careful not to add too many blogs, because you can easily swamp yourself with the overabundance of interesting things online!
