Irons Ranch making a difference Gene, Dixie and Lori Irons continue to make a difference. For the 3rd straight year, this trio is donating to some lucky winner, their choice of either a prospect steer or heifer that was raised on the Irons Ranch in Oakwood, Texas. Chances for the raffle cost $10.00/chance or 3 for $20.00 and may be purchased from Committee Members of the Leon County Youth Livestock Show Com- mittee, or from Mr. Gene Irons. Tickets will also be available all week during the Leon County Youth Livestock Show. The Irons Ranch has produced many champions over the years and these calves are from the same genetics that have continued to be improved each and every year. The two calves will be on display during the week (March 29th – April 2nd) of the county show. 100% of the proceeds from this raffle will go directly to the Leon County Youth Livestock Scholarship Fund. The winner will be drawn during the pre-sale activities just prior to the Sale of Champions in the premium sale scheduled for Friday, April 2nd at approximately 6:00 P.M. A tremendous act of giving on the part of the Irons Family and Irons Ranch that directly benefits the youth of Leon County. |
