Funeral services for Mr. Sammy Plummer, Jr., 42, will be held on Thursday April 1, 2010, at 2:00p.m. at Ricks- Bowers Funeral Home in Jewett. Bro. Michael Hunter will officiate. Mr. Mike Campbell of Buffalo and Ms. Janet Taylor of Dallas are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Campbell to Timothy Rantala, son of Niel Rantala and Mitzie Malina of Oakwood. After picking up two wins last week, the Lady Bison softball team is in third place behind Corrigan Camden and Centerville at the halfway mark. Buffalo defeated Onalaska 7-3 and Anderson-Shiro 6-0 to wrap up the first round of district play. Corrigan-Camden stands alone at the break with a 7-0 record.
