Officer Hutchison to IH 45 for motorist assist. Upon arrival, officer met with driver of Freightliner truck who had a blow out. Cleared as info.
Chief Pavelka to Commerce Street for possible assault. Officer met with victim who claimed she and her child had been assaulted by her live-in boyfriend while traveling through Buffalo. Remains under investigation.
Officer Hutchison to Jewett for agency assist. Officer was contacted by LCSO to assist LCSO Deputy Gifford and DPS Trooper Guyton with a one vehicle rollover crash where driver had fled the scene. Upon arrival, officer assisted fellow officers in trying to locate driver who may have been in an altercation and possibly carrying a firearm. Unable to locate.
Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for possible public intoxication. Suspects were gone upon arrival. Cleared as info.
Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street to assist to Union Pacific Railroad with stalled train. Officer assisted worker in locating air leak on one of the cars that had caused the train to make an emergency stop. Car with leak was removed from main train which allowed it to continue on its way.
Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for follow-up on stolen vehicle. Officer spoke with subject regarding reporting a vehicle stolen. Referred call to the investigating officer, Officer Hutchison. Update from Officer Hutchison: Vehicle recovered by Tomball PD.
Sgt Ferrand to IH 45 for possible intoxicated driver. Officer located and stopped the vehicle which was failing to maintain single marked line. After interviewing subject, it was determined that the driver was tired. Passenger, who had been sleeping, took over driving.
Sgt Ferrand to Cedar Creek Road for fight in progress. Upon arrival, officer was joined by JPD Officer O’Reilly to assist. Parties involved were located and separated to obtain info. Subjects were having a verbal altercation with no signs of physical violence. After interviewing, subjects separated to their own residences. Call cleared.
Officer Hutchison to Michael Avenue for agency assist. Upon arrival, officer met with Legacy Med 8 crew who wanted him to be present due to past encounters in that area. Cleared as info.
Officer Mouton to Commerce Street for business alarm. Upon arrival, officer checked building and found secure. Call cleared.
Officer Hutchison on IH 45 during a traffic stop, found that driver of vehicle had previously been deported and was in the country illegally. Driver was transported to LCSO jail without incident to be held until ICE could take custody of him.
Officer Mouton to Commerce Street for suspicious odor. Upon arrival, officer met with temporary day shift clerk who was concerned about the odor. When normal day shift clerk arrived, officer was notified that gas tanks had been filled the day before and the odor was normal.
Officer Haynie to Third Street for a disturbance involving child custody. Upon arrival, officer made contact with Reportee who advised that she no longer needed the police due to the issue having been resolved. No other police action was taken.
Officer Hutchison was contacted at police department by subject who wanted to speak with an officer that was off duty. Subject’s info was forwarded to Chief Pavelka per their request.
Sgt Ferrand & Lt Jefferson to IH 45 Feeder Road for residential alarm. Upon arrival, officers checked back door that was unsecure. Door lead to new addition that was being added to residence but main house was secure at ground level.
Sgt Ferrand & Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for possible intoxicated driver. Officers proceeded to east side city limits to wait for the described vehicle. Officers waited for 10 minutes but didn’t observe the vehicle. Cleared as info.
Officer Hutchison to Craig Drive for unruly subject. Upon arrival, officer located subject who appeared to have been drinking. Subject was escorted to his room to retrieve some personal belongings and then escorted to another room where a coworker assumed custody of him. Cleared as info.
Officer Hutchison to Gene Street for loud noise complaint. Upon arrival, officer located several subjects in the laundry area who advised their party had ended and they would lower the noise level. Cleared as info.
Sgt Ferrand was contacted by subject in reference to telephone or terroristic threats. Officer spoke with subject who had voicemails that she felt were threatening. After hearing the voicemails and interviewing both parties involved, officer found no offense and made no report.
Officer Hutchison to Gene Street for damaged property. Officer made contact with owner of vehicle who claimed it had been damaged by vehicle that had previously parked beside it. Officer made note of damage. Remains under investigation.
OfficerHutchison to Buffalo Avenue for stolen property. Upon arrival, officer met with subject who claimed two tires and rims had been stolen off a non-functioning vehicle located on the property. Officer then spoke with owner of the vehicle who wished to make a theft report. Remains under investigation.
Officer Hutchison to Jewett for agency assist. Officer was contacted by LCSO in regards to assistance needed by JPD Officer Cheney with a possible assault with gun involved. Subject had left the scene. Officer located vehicle described and after making contact with the driver, JPD Officer Cheney arrived on scene to take over the investigation. Cleared as info.
Officer Hutchison to Maple Street for burglary of a habitation. Remains under investigation.
Officer Haynie to IH 45 for suspicious person. Upon arrival, officer met with subject who said his car had broken down and he needed money for gas. Subject was advised to stop soliciting for money and leave the area.
Officer Haynie to Commerce Street for possible overdose. Upon arrival, officer made contact with subject that was traveling on the bus who appeared to be under the influence of some substance. EMS was called and subject was transported to Fairfield ER for further medical treatment. Chief Pavelka and Officer Mouton assisted on the call.
Chief Pavelka to Legalley Street for agency assist with possible driver under the influence. Officer made contact with driver who had fled into a house after parking his vehicle on Carr Street. Subject was arrested and transported to LCSO by DPS for Driving While Intoxicated.
