Buffalo High School students volunteer to stock the Lord's Pantry when a shipment of food arrives. Jared and Jacob are veterans at unloading while Harley and Charlie are newly appointed. The students are supplied primarily from the Ag department and are a huge labor asset for the voluteers who regularly man the pantry. Robert Horstman (not pictured) typically volunteers to travel to Tyler and pick up the pantry's faire while Karen Helmcamp (not pictured) transports the students to and from the high school. In addition to assisting with the food pantry shipments, BHS students also volunteer to set up and take down tables and chairs for the monthly AARP meetings held the 3rd Tuesday of every month at the Civic Center. Other students who have helped in the past (not pictured) are: Rigo Andrade, Ivan Montano, Esteban Espinoza, Dominic Jackson, Bryce Strack, Michael Dominguez, Damian Rodriguez, Kendall Sheffield, Todd Davis, Jonathan Cates, Bubba Baker, and Jessy Champion. The Lord's Pantry staff and AARP say thanks to the students for their help and thanks to Buffalo High School for allowing them to help.
