I am a member of the team now distributing the 2010 census questionnaires and I believe that most people don’t realize that the questionnaires are hand delivered. Some time ago there was a concerted effort to map out the entire county and assign house numbers so that emergency personnel could easily find people. Many have not gotten signs to show what number was assigned. The census enumerators are having a hard time finding many places and a lot of guess work is being done. This results in a greater cost to the government (taxpayers) and more frustration to the enumerators. Please!!!!! If you have to paint a number on a tree, find a way to show your house number or trailer number or whatever you live in. You will be doing a favor to your children and grandchildren. Thomas Nolen
