Photo by Mac Shadix Progress began last week on improving the water supply situation in the Weedon Addition as Womble Drilling Co. began work to plug a well at the Flo Water site. The well had never produced usable water. After plugging the existing well Womble will drill a new well at the site, going to a different depth. Womble has had excellent results with wells in the immediate area at that depth. The only current water supply for Weedon comes across the Interstate from the Flo Wells.
