Sheriff’s Department waiting for DNA results

According to Leon County Sheriff Jerry Wakefield, as of 12:00 noon on Monday, March 08, 2010, results of the DNA test from last week’s assault had not been received. On Monday, March 1, a Moody woman in her 80s was attacked in her home. Although there are similarities to previous assaults, authorities cautioned about assuming the Moody attacker was the “Twilight Rapist” until test results are complete.

Moody Police say they are working their investigation and have a few people of interest in the case.
