Bison powerlifters advance to Reg’ls

Van’Go’photo The Bison powerlifting team finished their regular season Saturday at a meet at Navasota. Three lifters qualified for the Regional meet on March 13 by being in the Top Ten of their weight classes: Tate Hartley (132-pound class), Jose Dominguez (181-pound class) and Jared Hawthorne (198-pound class). Coach Clay Hodges noted that two other BHS lifters --Jonathan Cates and Alejandro Montano-- still have a chance to go to Regionals as alternates, after final results from all meets are tabulated.
