Buffalo Police Report

Lance Pavelka

Officer Haynie & Chief Pavelka to County Road 331 for civil matter involving child custody. Officers assisted subject regarding minor child.

Officer Hutchison to Gene Street for verbal altercation. Upon arrival, officer found subject sitting in vehicle outside of residence. Officer made contact with victim involving subject entering her residence and yelling at her. Subject was removed to another location. Victim was advised to notify LCSO if she had any further disturbances. Cleared as info.

Officer Hutchison & Lt Jefferson to Commerce Street for possible public intoxication on Greyhound bus. Upon arrival, officers located subject lying in the rear of the bus on the floor. After several attempts, Officer Hutchison was able to revive subject and remove him from the bus. After submitting to a breath test, subject was found to be intoxicated and was placed into custody. Upon further investigation, subject was found in possession of a control substance. Subject was transported to LCSO and issued two citations.

Officer Hutchison to Commerce Street for welfare concern. Subjects were gone upon arrival. Cleared as info.

Officer Hutchison to IH 45 for agency assist with one vehicle rollover. Officer secured scene until DPS trooper arrived. Cleared as info.

Officer Hutchison to Center Street for loud music. Officer had responded to this address the previous weekend for same complaint. Upon arrival, officer located music coming from vehicle parked at residence. Property owner was advised that a complaint had been received and that the music could be heard from a great distance which was a breach of peace. To avoid any further action, subject was advised to leave the music off. Cleared as info.

Officer Hutchison to Main Street for an outstanding warrant. Upon arrival, subject was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant in Leon County regarding Family Violence.

Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for business alarm. Upon arrival, officer checked the side roll-up door of the business and found it secure.

Officer Hutchison & Sgt Ferrand to Cedar Creek for possible criminal mischief. Upon arrival, officers met with tenant who advised he had witnessed his garbage cart being run over by vehicle. Vehicle and driver were located. All info was documented and city was contacted by Sgt Ferrand the next business day so that a replacement cart could be delivered. Cleared as info.

Officer Mouton to Commerce Street for business alarm. Upon arrival, officer checked location and found secure. Call cleared.

Officer Hutchison to Highway 79 for possible reckless driver. Officer located vehicle and followed it. Vehicle was not being driven in a reckless manner. Cleared as info.

Officer Hutchison to Craig Drive for unruly persons at the Best Western. Upon arrival, officer spoke with desk clerk regarding unruly persons in one of the rooms. Officer spoke with primary renter and advised him that a complaint had been made about their noise and behavior and to end their party. He complied. Desk clerk was advised to contact LCSO if anymore problems. Cleared as info.

Officer Hutchison to Carr Street for possible domestic assault. Upon arrival, officer located victim who reported to have had a fight with her boyfriend earlier in the day and he had grabbed her arm. Victim was upset, but after inspection, appeared to be unharmed. Victim wanted boyfriend to leave with her but he was not on scene. Cleared as info.

Officer Hutchison & Jewett PD Officer Cheney to Commerce Street for possible assault. Upon arrival, officer spoke with victim who did not want to press charges. Subject, who was heavily self-medicated, was located and transported to ETMC in Fairfield for further evaluation.

Officer Hutchison to Knox Street for loud music. Officer located source and advised resident to turn it down. Resident complied. Cleared as info.

Sgt Ferrand to Commerce Street for possible reckless driver. Officer located driver at convenience store and made contact. Driver stated she wasn’t feeling well due to illness and had stopped for cold drink. Officer waited for driver to return to her vehicle, confirmed that she was feeling better and followed her vehicle out of city limits to make sure she was driving ok. Call cleared.

Sgt Ferrand to IH 45 for elderly man riding a bicycle on the interstate. Officer was unable to locate in reported location.
