Buffalo EE Club meets at Stagecoach Deli

The Buffalo EE Club met 11:30 am, Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the Stagecoach Deli Restaurant. The meeting was called to order by President Leslie Maciel with 12 members and four guests in attendance.

The Buffalo club was honored with four new members (Marilyn Brown, Linda Woodson, Pat Lacasse and Janice Pomeroy).

Members were reminded of the County Cultural Arts Day on March 23rd and of the District Spring Conference on April 1st in Georgetown. Cost per person is $10.00. Sugges- tions for our club’s spring trip were given and will be voted on at next month’s meeting. Donna Barrilleaux reported on the health of one member and reported that where two other members moved (addresses, phone numbers and etc.). We also had more suggestions on craft ideas for the club as a club fundraiser.

Members enjoyed a brief lesson by Charlcie Casey on Leon County’s names and nicknames of places in the county.

At the March meeting members are to bring an Easter item to be put in the huge gift bag as the door prize raffle to be given away at the meeting. The February door prize raffle was won by Betty Mundy and a smaller gift was won by Leslie Maciel. We adjourned at 1:10.

Next month the club will meet at the home of Charlcie Casey on March 17th and meet at the regular time of 12:00 noon. As always, bring a covered dish.
