For the last five years, January has marked the beginning of Relay season in Leon County. Each year, some local businesses partner with Relay For Life of Leon County in order to make the annual event a success. This year, the State Bank of Jewett has come on board as a $1,000 advertising underwriter. Their sponsorship, and the help from other local businesses, means every dollar local teams raise goes to research and patient services.
Even though the 2010 Relay For Life of Leon County is quickly approaching, there is still time to come on board as a sponsor.
Sponsorship levels begin at $50 and go to $5,000. Sponsors will be recognized throughout the event and any sponsor at the $250 level or higher will be listed on the 2010 Relay For Life tee-shirt, which will be worn by over 500 Leon County residents.
This year’s sponsors include; State Bank of Jewett, The Jewett Messenger, Ryder Oil, Buffalo Sporting Goods, Limestone Project Employee’s Fund, Jewett Area Chamber of Commerce, ABC Printing, Flex-Source, Farmer’s State Bank, Citizen’s State Bank, Dickey’s Barbeque, RSC Rentals, Morris Lazy K Ranch, BJ Farms, and Bobby Ray and Judy Harris.
Because of the generosity of these sponsors, this year’s event promises to be the best ever.
