The Oakwood Panthers didn't necessarily end the season on a high note. It was more like a sad one. Their final two games against Kennard and Douglass both ended in losses.
Against Kennard, Oakwood fell behind in the first quarter, scoring 5 points to Kennard's 18. They pulled out the stops in the second quarter and picked up 11 to Kennard's 18. Back from the half, the Panthers picked up 12 more points to Kennard's 17. With their energy draining, they saw their chances at winning slip away. Scoring only 7 more points to Kennard's 14 left the Panthers looking at a final score of 35- 67.
Bryson Randle picked up an amazing 17 points and a rebound during this game. James "Junior" Edwards got 5 points and a rebound. A.J. Carter picked up bucket and so did Cardarrell Stubblefield. "Stubbs" also picked up 4 rebounds. Kealyne Durham picked up a couple of points and a rebound while Shaquille "Shaq" Caldwell got 7 points and 5 rebounds.
