Straight from The Horse’s Mouth
      Having grown up on a farm in eastern Canada, the trials and tribulations of "fixin" things are not unfamiliar to me. If it wasn't in the toolbox on the tractor or in the truck it required extra time to get the proper parts. Mother Nature did not allow us the luxury of wasting her precious time. Things got fixed and the job got done but time was always the issue.

Breakfast on the Farm
      Sometime around Christmas I found a recipe for yeast waffles that was supposed to be very light and crispy, the batter could be made the night before and would keep up to four days in the fridge. Sounded great, and best of all the recipe did NOT call for beaten egg whites.

      Mother, son and son’s friend all arrested, PR-1127. One called said another had been attacked by the third party. When Deputies House and McGowan arrived one found naked outside, another found laying on belly on ground, flailing arms and legs in methodical and rhythmical fashion.       When I grew up in Leon County, more than a few years ago, the only Mexican food I knew about was Wolf Brand Chili with crackers. No so today!! Just drive through any of our towns and communities and you are likely to see “taquerias” of all shapes and sizes. One of these establishments is “Taqueria La Milpa” in Jewett.
