Return of the Miss Blue Belle Pageant

(A few words to the wise, Guys: FIND A WIG) Photo by Chris Negron It has been several years since a Buffalo "enjoyed" a womanless beauty pageant, but that is an oversight soon to be remedied. On Sunday, February 28, the BHS junior class is hosting the Miss Blue Belle Pageant as a prom fundraiser.

Thirteen high school contestants have signed up to participate and the guys will compete in the categories of Personality Wear and, Most Photogenic and will, of course, participate in a short on-stage interview. Talent and swimsuit categories are optional. (Scarey thought, huh?). At the end of the show, one of these beauties will be crowned "Miss Blue Belle, 2010", and there will of course be additional awards such as Miss Congeniality.

Tickets are $5 at the door on the day of the event and all proceeds will benefit the BHS junior class. That date, again, is Sunday afternoon, February 28 at 2:00 at the BHS auditorium. Mark your calendars, folks -- you won't want to miss this.
