Sherry’s Shots On February 13, First Baptist Church Buffalo hosted its fourteenth event focusing on the specific needs of ladies. The theme was God’s Amazing Grace and three guests came prepared to inspire and motivate the women who were at the meeting.

Approximately 75 women attended the conference with eleven churches represented, counting FBC Buffalo. The day began with guests Shelly Wilson and Kerri Crocker sharing their life experiences through music and testimony. The two have been together in a ministry that includes everything from music CDs to a magazine for ‘tween’ aged children.

Lunch was provided by “It’s Catered” and following the meal afternoon speaker Stephanie D. Miller took the podium. Miller began her presentation with a testimony about a near-death collision she encountered and how she overcame though faith in God and His amazing grace. As she continued into the afternoon Miller challenged each woman by saying, “A collision or any life-altering event is never the defining moment of one’s life. Rather, it is a refining moment that accelerates one to his or her destiny.”
