Buffalo geek is open for business In the last few years, Buffalo has not had a full-service technology center. Until today, you'd have to go at least as far as Fairfield or Palestine to find someone that could help with a broken computer. But all that is changing now that Craig Blaylock, sole proprietor of Craig's TechGeek Services, has opened shop. When he's not slinging espresso from behind the counter of The Horse's Mouth bookstore and coffee shop, Craig can be found in an approachable office set up in the back where he's been mending and maintaining computers since the beginning of February. He's also doing house calls and offering oneon one tutoring to residents who want to use their machines more effectively. Having a computer geek on premises has already been a hit with passers-by. Glenn St. John, co-owner of The Horse's Mouth, had this to say, “Oh, having him is a real boon for the store. We've got free Wi-Fi, so people are always bringing in their laptops, and Craig has been freely giving out advice to people that are having trouble with them. People are coming in and enjoying a coffee while he works the bugs out of their computers.” Craig is in-store to help people from 10am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, but available by appointment. |
