Tom Nolen The pastor’s sermon this morning was a message to men to love their wives. The men were so instructed by the bible but the wives were only told to respect their husbands. Does this mean that there is a different standard for men and women???? I don’t think so. The women can respect the men only if they earn it. Likewise men only love their wives if the wife does have respect for her husband. The valentines banquet will be this evening and the theme is “love your church. “ I takes place on the boardwalk in Atlantic City. Actually in the fellowship center at Church. There will be a ladies bible study @ 4:30 P.M. on the 21st of February. The business meeting for February will be after the evening service on the 21st and birthdays and anniversaries will be celebrated on February 28th after the evening service. It will be hosted by Pam Stubblefield and Sylvia Creech. There were a lot of visitors at the morning service today for which we give thanks to the Lord. The pantry this past week had a low attendance due in part to the weather. The crew will be going to Tyler this Tuesday to replenish the supply. If you are a Christian and not regularly attending a church come to North Creek and we will worship with you. If you are not a Christian, Then you need to make the most important decision of your mortal life. That is where do you want to spend eternity? If you want to spend it in heaven, worshipping the Lord, then you need to give your life to Jesus. If you want to spend it suffering from the fire of Hades with the gnashing of teeth and constantly burning but with no end in sight, it is easy. Do nothing and that is where you will end up. Come to North Creek and find out how to inherit eternal life with the Savior. “See ya there.”
