Leon High Band members work to earn way to Branson

Roger Osborne, custodian and parent, and 8th grade band student Daniel Pate serve up some tasty burgers at Leon’s Friday night basketball game. Sherry’s Shots Leon High School Band Director Bill Boyle is getting ready to take his Leon Band to Branson, Missouri to participate in contests and entertainment. Boyle says the trip will cost $600.00 per student. He and parents are providing ways for each child to earn his/her way. On this night at the Leon High School Gymnasium, parents and students prepared and sold hamburgers while others worked in the concession stand. Boyle says he is hopeful that every student will be able to participate.
