Freestone County Sheriff’s Report
      Man calls, having the worst time of his life, will just try to go to sleep for now. 911 dialed on cell phone, answered by Dispatch multiple times but no one on line. Turned out this was on FCR-332 where a man had just turned the electricity back on at a trailer house. Apparently there was an electrical problem in same and up it went in flames.

Leon County Cooks: Brussels Sprouts and winter greens
      With February underway many a gardener is getting the itch to get out into the garden. Some have already plowed or tilled or whatever chore was needed to get things ready for planting day. My mother always planted potatoes on my birthday, which is Valentine’s Day, and I think she put out onions about the same time.
