Centerville Tigers defeat Corrigan-Camden

The Tigers defeated Corrigan-Camden 52-38 to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Tigers jumped to a 10-4 advantage as the first quarter ended and both teams scored 11 points in the second period. The Tigers dominated the third quarter by outscoring Camden by 12 to take a commanding 18 point lead going into the fourth quarter. Camden cut into the lead by outscoring the Tigers 19-15 in the final stanza but the Tigers hung on to win 52-38.

Playmaker Michael Gwosdz had 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jonathan Cloud and Jamal High each tallied 13 points. Cloud had 7 rebounds and Jeremy Hammock and Clay Hardee 5 each to lead the Tigers on defense.

Stats for the Tigers against Corrigan-Camden: Rashad Hopkins 1 rebound; Jonathan Cloud 13 points, 7 rebounds; Clay Hardee 3 rebounds; Ryan Payne 7 points, 1 rebound; Jamal High 13 points; Jeremy Hammock 4 points, 5 rebounds; Michael Gwosdz 13 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists; Garrett Chase 2 points.

The Tigers host Anderson-Shiro on February 2nd and travel to Trinity on February 5th.
