Ray Lester Phillips, 63, Buffalo died on Thursday, January 28, 2010 in Temple at V.A. Medical Center. Funeral will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at First St. Holland Baptist Church in Buffalo. Born on October 18, 1946 in Corinth, Tx to Lester and Helen Smith Phillips.

He is survived by life companion, Helen Randle, Buffalo, mother, Helen Phillips, Buffalo, 3 children: Rachel Ross of Cordona, Tenn., Raymond Montrell of Fort Worth, and Jamie Frazier of Fort Worth, 4 brothers: John Phillips of Chandler, Marvin Phillips and Timmie Phillips of Mass., Frederick Phillips of Teague, 2 sisters: Shirley Jean Lacey of Corsicana and Joyce Ann Phillips of Buffalo and 10 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by father, Lester Phillips, 3 sisters: Patricia, Mary Helen and Brenda Phillips.
